The development of the Norman Cornish Trail moved a step closer towards completion yesterday when members of the community recorded their memories of some of the locations used on the Trail, taking it now to an advanced stage.
Christmas Delivery Dates
We’re excited to see so many orders coming through for framed prints and books in the lead up to Christmas. With that in mind we’d like to announce that in order to ensure delivery before Christmas orders must be placed before the 15th of December. This is due to the framing, packaging and royal mail postage times.

Following on from the popularity of recent talks based on the book: Behind the Scenes: The Norman Cornish Sketchbooks, we are pleased to announce a subsequent talk at the Shipley Art Gallery covering different aspects of the artist’s career, to be delivered again by Mike Thornton, Norman’s son-in-law.
October Illustrated Sketchbooks Talk
On Wednesday, 3rd of October Bishop Auckland Town Hall will be hosting a talk by Mike Thornton, son-in-law to Norman Cornish. Admission is free and you'll also be able to purchase a copy of the new Behind The Scenes book while you're there!
Norman Cornish Sketch on Antiques Roadshow
When Antiques Roadshow visited Newcastle Civic Centre one of the most exciting items of the day was when a sketch by Norman Cornish was shown by a man who's grandparents purchased the sketch many years ago.
