Directions to Spennymoor Leisure Centre – Site of Bishop’s Close Street:

Directly opposite the pub, cross over towards the Leisure Centre. Here you will find the trail board which stands at a point near to where Bishop’s Close Street once stood. This street is where the artist lived and where his early paintings were produced.
