The Norman Cornish Trail & Updated John Kitson Archway Are Now Open
It gives us great pleasure to announce that The Norman Cornish Trail in Spennymoor has officially launched!
Follow in the artist’s footsteps and explore the places which provided the inspiration for some of his paintings and drawings which evoke so many memories and emotional attachment for those who enjoy his work. The Trail involves a moderate 50 minutes walk starting and finishing at Spennymoor Town Hall.
The John Kitson Archway
We're also pleased to announce that the John Kitson Archway has given a new lease of life. The archway has been updated to include backlit images of some of Norman's work and serves as the start and end to the Norman Cornish Trail.

Cornish Centenary
Throughout the centenary year, an interesting range of themed exhibitions is planned in order to commemorate Norman’s life and to celebrate his work.
