Maggie’s Cancer Care at The Freeman Hospital

On May 16th 2013, the new Cancer Care facility, ‘Maggie’s Newcastle’, at The Freeman Hospital, was officially opened by Sarah Brown. The facility is one of 17 throughout the UK and was designed by Ted Cullinan.

Six pieces of work by Norman Cornish have been placed on long term loan to Maggie’s Newcastle, courtesy of the Permanent Collection at the University of Northumbria Gallery and Baring Wing.
